   ML40/2-Liaise, local/national authorities - Liaise English Nature
Routine liaison is achieved with English Nature via the NNR team and the JAC. Outside of these committees/teams, management advice and approval is sought from the Conservation Officer at Grantham.

      ML60/1-Liaise, emergency services - Liaise emergency services
Maintain good links with police, in particular over the following:
* Operation compass (East Anglian initiative to provide early warning alert on egg collector activity).
* Beach buggy - establish communication with police ATV operators to ensure smooth-running of incident handling and avoidance of sensitive habitats.
* Police Wildlife Liaison Officer - maintain close links with WLO and attend county wildlife crime meetings.
Liaise Coastguard/search and rescue committee.
Access arrangements in place for ambulance and fire services.

      ML80/2-Liaise, others - Liaise Seacroft residents
Pursue dialogue with local residents to encourage reporting of undesirable/illegal activities on SSSI. Encourage LWT membership.

      MP00/1-Protect site/species by patrol - Patrol site
Warden presence necessary on reserve during busy periods, bank holidays, school holidays etc to inform/liase visitors, deal with emergency situations and enforce bylaws. Car park ticket checks are also carried out during bank haolidays and busy periods. Polite reminder notices are issued to encourage payment where no ticket is displayed.
Particular reference to seasonal dog ban, mountain bikes, kites, naturists, ATVs and trials bikes, barbecues, samphire gathering.
Patrols are carried out by staff and trained volunteers - identifiable with badges or site specific/LWT clothing. Incidents recorded.

      AS00/1-Protect site, by promulgating/enforcing laws - Implement seasonal dog ban on Beach
Enforce seasonal dog ban on beach from April to September. Whole of NNR beach/foreshore is covered.
Instate information notices at reserve access points eg car parks and Seacroft and enforcement notices at beach access points eg Mill Hill, Sleeper Track, N Building and Seacroft.

      AS00/2-Protect site, by promulgating/enforcing laws - Implement site security
North and south car parks are closed on Friday and Saturday nights from April to September to maintain security for Field Station residents, and curb a range of undesirable nocturnal activities. Gates are closed at dusk and re-opened for 06:30 the following morning. Staff and volunteer rota in place to oversee.
Overnight parking is covered under bylaw.
Sykes Farm security provided by alarm and call-out system. This is set every night. Pursue CCTV coverage.

      AT50/1-Liaise/supervise voluntary/honorary wardens - LIAISE, Induct and train volunteers
Appropriate induction for all volunteers/work experience students to be given by staff. Induction and training schedule are covered in Volunteer Induction Manual which is given to each volunteer. See AT30/01 for training requirements. Residential volunteer placements for a minimum of 3 months (reviewed at each 3 month period). Training needs assessed and courses organised within HLF budget provision.
Key volunteers are able to assist with most duties including patrolling and bylaw enforcement, following appropriate training.
Project brief includes volunteer liaison and recruitment for reserve, education and Visitor Centre volunteers.
