      MI10/2-Inform visitors, general - Visitor information
Maintain signs detailing bylaws at access points to reserve.
Instate temporary signs at shorebird sanctuary.
Instate temporary dog ban signs in car parks, at Seacroft and at beach access points.
Warden and volunteers based at tern hut to disseminate information on shorebird protection scheme.
Maintain signs to direct visitors away from sensitive areas/sanctuary zones etc.
Maintain car park charge signs for high and low season.
Maintain reserve signs in appropriate and sensitive positions.
Update visitor information board with daily sightings/species reports and info on forthcoming events etc.
Maintain/update web site and 'Wildnews'
Project brief includes all informal visitor liaison.

      ML00/1-Liaise, owners/occupiers - Liaise LCC/ELDC
Project brief includes all liaison with ELDC and LCC officers and members/councillors.Includes attendance of JAC meetings twice per year.
Chief issues With LCC presently include:
Confirmation of 99 year lease.
Annual grant for NNR management.
Maintenance of all LCC buildings/structures including Field Station.
Field Station redevelopment.
Maintenance of other structures, tracks etc as detailed in lease.
Chief issues with ELDC
Annual grant for NNR management.
Lease renewal.
Management of Seacroft SSSI/SAC
Coastal zone management (recreational zonation etc).

      ML60/1-Liaise, emergency services - Liaise emergency services
Maintain good links with police, in particular over the following:
* Operation compass (East Anglian initiative to provide early warning alert on egg collector activity).
* Beach buggy - establish communication with police ATV operators to ensure smooth-running of incident handling and avoidance of sensitive habitats.
* Police Wildlife Liaison Officer - maintain close links with WLO and attend county wildlife crime meetings.
Liaise Coastguard/search and rescue committee.
Access arrangements in place for ambulance and fire services.

      ML80/1-Liaise, others - Liaise Beach ferry operator
Spring meetings necessary with beach ferry operator to ensure damage to sensitive habitats and species is avoided.

      MP00/1-Protect site/species by patrol - Patrol site
Warden presence necessary on reserve during busy periods, bank holidays, school holidays etc to inform/liase visitors, deal with emergency situations and enforce bylaws. Car park ticket checks are also carried out during bank haolidays and busy periods. Polite reminder notices are issued to encourage payment where no ticket is displayed.
Particular reference to seasonal dog ban, mountain bikes, kites, naturists, ATVs and trials bikes, barbecues, samphire gathering.
Patrols are carried out by staff and trained volunteers - identifiable with badges or site specific/LWT clothing. Incidents recorded.

      ME11/1-Buildings, construct - replace shorebird warden base
The present shorebird warden hut is falling into a poor state of repair. The structure needs to be replaced and a new one built in the same location. The structure needs to be very sturdy and wetherproof and provide sleeping compartment for 24 hour wardening scheme.

      AS00/1-Protect site, by promulgating/enforcing laws - Implement seasonal dog ban on Beach
Enforce seasonal dog ban on beach from April to September. Whole of NNR beach/foreshore is covered.
Instate information notices at reserve access points eg car parks and Seacroft and enforcement notices at beach access points eg Mill Hill, Sleeper Track, N Building and Seacroft.
