There is little intervention required to manage this habitat feature. Close liaison
with the
Environment Agency is required to receive information with regard to the beach nourishment project
and its effects.
Plastic waste and other marine-borne debris need clearing from the strandline, although
ironically
large amounts of strandline debris may be a precursor to embryo dune formation. It
is important to
leave organic matter, especially large pieces of driftwood.
