Management Objectives
1 Maintain Rigsby Wood in both composition and
management to reflect its origins and status as primary and ancient
woodland.
2 Maintain, improve and
diversify the habitats provided by this type of woodland especially
those
associated with coppice areas, rides, glades, woodland edges and the
pond.
3 Encourage controlled use by
schools and other educational bodies for studies in field biology, ecology,
etc.
4 Provide
safe access for Trust members and other
visitors.
5 Improve
the interpretation of the biological features of the
site.
