In order to make the best use of this
MindManager resource for
research into Darwin's evidence for evolution it is necessary to have
a framework for assembling your own personal body of knowledge.
This framework is provided in the three separate sections of this
introduction.
Section 1 provides a broad summary of
the methods and
knowledge Darwin used to define the process of evolution and its
mechanism of natural selection. It is presented in the form of a time
line.
Section 2 is an anthology of extracts
from Darwin's writings.
Section 3 summises the ideas or the roots
from which Darwin began
to think about differences and similarities between living things.
